Christchurch, Governors Bay, double-storey new home with a lift.  Separate guest apartment downstairs.
Diane works full time and Kerry is retired, so is around home most of the time.  $160 per day, plus food. 

‍Diane and Kerry have a new and accessible home designed to cater for hospitality. 
Come and recuperate in a peaceful home with amazing views of Lyttelton Harbour. 

‍Accessibility: The entrance to our home is one step up but entrance through the garage is flat. 
There is a lift for access to the second floor.  There is a support rail in the shower, if needed. 

‍Accommodation: this consists of an apartment for yourself,  with a separate bedroom, bathroom and lounge with kitchenette. 
The space is heated by a heat pump and you have views overlooking Lyttelton Harbour and across to Diamond Harbour. 
If the window is open, you will enjoy the morning bird chorus in the native bush beside the house.

Bathroom: Adjacent to your bedroom, you will find a private bathroom with a shower, toilet and bath.  For your safety and comfort, we have installed grab bars in the shower area.

‍Facilities: You are welcome to make use of the entire house.  The lift is next to the apartment so you can easily have access upstairs. 
The view upstairs is stunning and you are welcome to relax in a comfy armchair and enjoy the activity on the harbour. 
You also have your own TV in your apartment with access to Netflix, Prime and television.

Host Presence: Diane is at work during the day and Kerry has various voluntary commitments but is around most of the time.  You will find your kitchenette stocked with a choice of beverages and pantry items.  You are welcome to eat breakfast in the apartment or join us upstairs.  Lunch and dinner can be enjoyed upstairs.  We can discuss dietary requirements before your stay.

‍Pet Information: We have a friendly pet cat who is a little shy when meeting new people but warms up quickly with a good pat and scratch around the ears.
