 Our House

It is a single- level large home full of natural light. Female guests welcome $125/day, meals to be discussed.
Please bring your new baby! We have a lovely, quiet room with a bassinette.

The Host:

Chris and Phillip.We have a modern, large and sun filled home with private gardens. Located in an extremely quiet street with a 10-minute walk to the lake. Chris is home most days with Phillip working away from home 2 nights a week.

Accessibility:  

A few shallow, deep steps up to the front door but flat access from our internal garage if required. French doors lead out to the courtyard garden with a small step down from the house.

Accommodation:  

You have the choice of 2 bedrooms, each one facing southeast measuring 3x4 metres. A very comfortable single bed is in each room with a desk, chair and lounge chair in one bedroom or a cot available for babies and infants if required. Silent electric heating is provided in each room for those cooler days.

Bathroom:  

You will have the use of separate bathroom with shower cubicle (small lip to step into the shower), bath and handbasin. Separate toilet with handbasin is located next to the bathroom. Heated tile flooring in winter with heated towel rail, wall mounted heater and extractor fan.

Facilities:  

Our home has a separate lounge/tv room with inbuilt gas fire and recliner La-Z-Boy chairs and couch, open plan living room and kitchen with heatpump/air conditioning. These rooms all face north and are a real suntrap! We have a large supply of books for you to read whilst recovering and unlimited internet for streaming on your electronic devices.\

Host Presence:  

Chris is home every day with occasional activities which take me out for part of the day. I am home every evening to take care of meals. My husband works from home two days and is away from home two days and nights as well.

Pet Information, or other the guest needs to be aware of

We have the most affectionate 2 year old Burmilla cat who thinks each bed is hers! When you stay with us, we will ensure your bedroom is not available for her. She enjoys interacting with everyone, especially children and can be quite playful at times but is never aggressive.  

We look forward to welcoming you into our home to help you with your recuperation and recovery. We are able to cater for certain dietary restrictions including gluten and dairy intolerances, if required. Come and enjoy our cottage garden with roses, lavender, hollyhocks and more, a delightful place to sit in the sun and enjoy the birdsong.
