The cottage provides comfortable amenities whilst showcasing views of rural scenery. Amazing sunsets to the West and night skies to showcase the stars.

Located in a quiet area, offering an atmosphere of calm and tranquility.

The driveway has a steep incline but levels out to a flat area upon reaching the carport, which is adjacent to the cottage allowing for easy access.

Paths are gravel but pavers have been laid from the carport leading to the cottage front door. A handrail and non-skid mats have been installed to accommodate the two steps.
Transport would be available should you wish to go into the village to enjoy the cafes and local shops and museum.

The newly built cottage, fully self contained, is 42 sqm including the deck. It is Insulated for warmth but also offering electric panel heater and tiny log-burner if required.
The area surrounding the cottage allows for uninterrupted privacy.

Lovely views of rural scenes, mountains and forests can be viewed from the windows with the deck offering the opportunity to just sit and breathe.

You will be able to view wonderful starry nights!

As part of the self-contained cottage there is an enclosed shower, with grab rail. Stool if required. Toilet adjacent to the shower also with grab rail.

The idea of being self-contained allows you the freedom of your own surroundings or 24/7 attention if required. (To be arranged)

The TV has been situated to enjoy either in the lounge area or the open-plan design of the bedroom.

The grass area surrounding the cottage is flat but sloped slightly if you wished to continue your walk to the main homestead to sit amongst the trees and enjoy the views.
There is no Wi-fi in the cottage at this stage but you are welcome to use it in the main house.

We are fortunate to have a resident Doctor with an excellent Medical Centre 5 minutes from the cottage. 03 485 9050.

While I have a guest present I will be permanently at home. In the mornings I would bring a breakfast tray (if requested)

or leave a breakfast basket for your enjoyment. Lunch can be provided or the ingredients to make it yourself.

The evening meal also supplied to the cottage or perhaps you may wish to join my husband and me in the main homestead?

Whether you prefer time alone or companionship you are more than welcome at the main house.

Choices are yours, we are here to support you on your road to recovery.

We do not have any pets on site but there is an opportunity to view nature at its best with falcons soaring, native birds singing, sheep and cattle in the distance, and the occasional rabbit or hare.
