Wairarapa - Semi-Rural
A little about the property:
This semi-rural, homely property has idyllic views over the valley, bush and a small lake close by, which usually has wild ducks.
Access is a flat path, with ramps to the decks that surround the main house. Should you wish, you could follow the sun during the day.
You will have a private lounge area, a bedroom and a bathroom that are accessed via an outside door from the house.
The bedroom has very comfortable queen sleigh bed, which has a topper, an electric blanket, feather pillows and a feather duvet – a nest! The double bedroom has French doors and is 3 x 4.5 m.
The bathroom is a wet room shower with a toilet and basin. There are views across the lake to the cows, with a curtain if you don’t want the view. A grab rail is next to the toilet and we can provide a seat if this makes showering easier.
You lounge area has a long couch to stretch out on, an armchair and a table with dining chairs. There is a small fridge, along with tea and coffee -making facilities.
Breakfast is provided – usually Bircher muesli – soaked overnight in milk and includes grated apple and berries, fruit and a croissant. Please let me know if you require soy milk or a gluten free breakfast.
I usually leave baking/fruit for morning or afternoon tea.
Other meals are available by arrangement.
I can heat any food for you in the main house.
Wi-Fi is available throughout the property including the alcove.
This is a non-smoking residence. $225 / night including food
Facilities
Follow the sun around the decks and choose a chair.
You are welcome to walk in the garden and we can run you down the farm in a covered farm vehicle to the river if you are feeling up to this.
There are several hectares of original Wairarapa bush on the farm but this is an assisted walk if you are feeling adventurous.
Host Presence
Either my husband or myself are available most days. We are both trained First Aiders.
Pet Information
There are several dogs on the property they are either with us or kenneled. You will meet the chooks on a fine day and see two pigs in the next paddock.
We look forward to meeting you and helping you recover and unwind.
